TSP

The company that grew to become TSP in 1946, started out in Japan in the 1930s as a company producing table tennis balls. In 2017, the name of TSPs parent company, Yamato Table Tennis Co, was changed to VICTAS Co, operating two table tennis brands, VICTAS and TSP, side-by-side. TSP is famous for its wide range of pimples-out rubbers, including Spectol, Spinpips, and Curl series. The original Spectol was developed in 1970 but continues to be used by top players including Han Ying (Top 10, Women’s singles; 2016 Olympics silver medalist Women’s teams) and Wu Yang (2009 World Junior Women’s Champion).
